One Summer Chicago Close Out!

This summer, we proudly partnered with The Mildred Franks Community Development Corporation to create an impactful experience for over 120 participants across the North, West, and South sides of Chicago. Our initiative spanned across more than eight different worksites, engaging a diverse group of young individuals eager to learn and grow.

Program Highlights

The program included a total of 100 Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) participants and 20 Chicagobility participants, all of whom dedicated 120 hours to working in their respective roles. This hands-on experience not only provided valuable work skills but also fostered a sense of community and collaboration among the participants.

Achievements in Financial Literacy

One of the standout accomplishments of this summer was the significant improvement in our Financial Literacy scores. We are thrilled to announce a 3% increase in completion rates, rising from 94% last year to an impressive 97% this year. This achievement reflects our commitment to equipping the youth with essential financial knowledge and skills that will benefit them in their future endeavors.
